Protest: DPU Chooses GA$ instead of Solar and Wind

The Climate Courage Working Group of 350 Mass is calling for a rally and march against the actions of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU). The march will be SATURDAY, December 10 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in Dewey Square across from South Station in Boston.

Why we must take action

DPU’s decisions favoring ga$ are coming home to roost. If DPU had pushed Eversource and National Grid to diversify our heating and electric systems, the continuing low prices for solar and wind power would be modifying consumer energy costs even with the soaring price for natural ga$ this winter. Instead, we are getting 50% rate increases.

This is a classic example of how the failure to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy hurts those people in the population who can least afford it.
