On June 9th, 350 Mass has teamed up with youth activists and artists in the Boston area to gather for a Poetry Procession in Mission Hill. This action is part of the People Vs Fossil Fuels campaign and the #EndtheEra weekend of action! Across the US, activists are taking creative action to tell Biden to declare a climate emergency, reject all new fossil fuel projects, and ban leasing on all onshore and offshore fossil fuel extraction.
The Plan: A roving poetry slam through Mission Hill where poets, artist, and storytellers will share pieces in unique locations - think gas stations, convenience stores, banks, and more.
Where: Meet at 6pm this Friday at the Citizen Bank near the Fenwood Rd Green line Stop. We will be moving to multiple sites, so come with comfy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
When: 6pm on Friday, June 9th
