On Sunday, September 15th, Luisa Neubauer a visionary climate activist and a leader of Fridays for Future Germany, is coming to Boston! To make the most of her visit, she's hosting a climate summit where leaders from across our movement will gather to discuss our local, national, and global movement. Alongside Luisa, Bill McKibben from Third Act! (and formerly of 350.org, of course) and Jamila Raqib from The Albert Einstein Institution will launch a day of workshops, discussion, and community building.
This event is open to all climate justice activists! From our youth leaders to our elders, from local environmental justice warriors to international human rights activists, this is an open invitation. Together, we'll see the breadth and potential of our network, and we can set a tone for our work moving forward. Please RSVP for this event by filling out this form.
This is what we call a movement moment. Representatives from dozens of organizations, dozens of communities, and as many separate campaigns will converge. What we get out of this is what we bring to it. Come as a listener, a learner, a leader. Hear stories of struggle and victory, and share your own history and your vision for climate justice.
Thank you to Brandies University for hosting. 350 Mass was looped into this exciting opportunity because one of our beloved leaders, Sabine Von Mering, translated Luisa's new book: Beginning to End the Climate Crisis! Check it out, and join us on Sunday, September 15th.
