Our Media Engagement Working Group meets to discuss, plan, and strategize for more effective media response that conveys the urgency of the climate crisis to a broad audience. Media plays a critical role in both informing and influencing the public, and to date has not done a very good job. We need consistent and well-informed coverage of both the causes and the impact of climate change. We also need to lift up practical solutions in Massachusetts and worldwide to shift to a clean energy, sustainable and equitable economy.
To increase our impact, we have a Letter-to-the-Editor (LTE) team that reviews op-eds and articles regularly for possible response. We welcome, train and support new writer activists.
